Cornerstone Classical Christian Academy provides an inspiring introduction to classical education for little minds grounded in the Christian classical approach. Our full day program provides children with a unique educational experience where they will not only learn foundational skills and knowledge, they will also develop a joy of learning and the satisfaction in a job well-done. Lessons in character, service, and compassion will be taught through interactive stories and questions. We teach a content-rich body of knowledge that includes strong foundational skills in phonics and math through structured learning activities that are age-appropriate. Scholars are encouraged to build habits of giving attention and respect, listening, following instructions, and cleaning up after themselves through methods that respect a child’s innate wonder and desire for self-discovery.
We want our young scholars to delight in the pleasures of this stage of life– to capitalize on the curiosity and enthusiasm of their youth and to enjoy the songs, stories, games, and rhymes loved by preschool-age children for generations.
Programs/Age Groups Offered
For the 2023-24 school year, we are excited to offer full day Pre-K. Our Junior Kindergarten Program is uniquely designed for scholars who will be attending kindergarten the year after attending Junior Kindergarten at Cornerstone Classical. Scholars must be 4 years old as of August 1st of the enrolling school year at Cornerstone to participate in Junior Kindergarten. This level has become an ideal option for families whose child has missed the October 1st cut-off date for kindergarten. Because of their age and development, the Junior Kindergarten Program at Cornerstone Classical is academic in focus, serving as a bridge between preschool and the formal academic program of kindergarten, with a goal of accelerating learning in reading, math, language, and scholar learning behaviors.
